We’ve been workin' on the railroad . . .
Dobbins Studios had another major project commissioned by the Mid Regional Counsel of Government. This ongoing project involves producing several large glass panels to serve as windscreens at the train stations for the New Mexico Railrunner Express, a new light rail system in central New Mexico. The panels are 7 feet wide by 5 feet high each, 1/2 inch tempered glass, with 9 mounting holes drilled through the glass. Each panel weighs almost 300 pounds. Forty two of these panels have been completed and installed at the various rail stops along the Rio Grande.
